On behalf of the Board of Management of ISRRT I look forward to seeing you in Australia at the ISRRT World Congress to be held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre at the Gold Coast in Queensland.

Pam Rowntree and her Convening Committee together with the Board of ISRRT, have spent a great deal of time to ensure that you can not only look forward to a stimulating, professional educational experience, but also have time to enjoy the wonderful and varied attractions available in this exciting and dynamic part of Australia.

The Technical program will ensure a wide range of choices of topics to ensure that your interest in modalities and associated professional issue can be accommodated.

ISRRT World Congresses historically offer not only an insight into the latest technological advances and techniques, but will also give you an international perspective on your profession and an opportunity to exchange experiences and make new friends to ensure your experience at this meeting will endure.

We anticipate colleagues attending from over 50 countries which, together with approximately a thousand radiographers and radiation therapists from Australia and nearby Asia will ensure a truly memorable professional experience.

The Gold Coast of Australia allows easy access to great experiences such as the Great Barrier Reef, Far North Queensland as well as the Australian Outback and the exciting adjacent cities of Sydney and Brisbane. We encourage visitors from overseas to consider allowing even a little extra time to experience some of the unique opportunities a trip "Down Under" can offer.
